Anupama: Prathna Victim of Domestic Violence Rahi takes Action

Anupama rules on the television screens. It is a remake of Star Jalsha's Bengali series Sreemoyee, produced by Rajan and Deepa Shahi under the auspices of Director's Kut Productions. 

It seems that Prathna is Parag Kothari’s daughter and has got married to a man named Gautam. Gautam will come across as a rude and a very arrogant man who doesn’t love or respect Prathna but uses her as a commodity to enter the inner circle of Kothari family.

Prathna will not be allowed to do things that she likes as she will always be seen as an object that is owned by her husband. He will be seen physically abusing Prathna on multiple occasion and hence Prathna will be very scared of him.

Rahi will be the only one who will notice Gautam’s weird behaviour towards Prathna and tries to stop Gautam from harming his wife. Rahi will also threaten Gautam and warns to expose him if tries to harm Prathna.

Gautam inappropriate behaviour

Prathna on the other hand prefers to stay silent as she doesn’t want to harm the respect of her family by projecting herself as a victim of domestic violence. Things are going to get very nasty as Gautam is not going to change his behaviour and even tries to get close to Rahi and touch her inappropriately.

Will Rahi be able to teach Gautam a lesson or not?
