Jhanak: Kajal Pisal aka Tanuja Underwent Surgery

It seems that Kajal Pisal who essays the character of Tanuja Bose in the show has not been well for a long time.

She was taken to a metropolitan hospital and underwent surgery.

In an Instagram post, she provided followers with health updates, writing, " I was diagnosed with recurrent cystic hyperplasia for which I had to go through a small procedure under sedation. I'm glad and thankful to my fans and well-wishers for their love and concern. I'm doing much better after undergoing surgery in a hospital here in Mumbai."

Kajal plays negative character

Kajal plays a negative character in Star Plus show Jhanak.

She plays the character of Tanuja who is the mother of the male lead, Anirudh Bose.

In the show Kajal wants her son to marry a rich girl named Arshi Mukherjee but unfortunately her son is madly in love with an orphan girl named Jhanak.
