Pranali Rathod New Show Durga set on the background of Rajasthan

Pranali Rathod won many hearts with her stint in Star Plus longest running show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai where she essayed the character of Akshara and her love story with Abhimanyu Birla will be always remembered as one of the most iconic love stories on-screen.

Pranali is currently part of Colors upcoming show ‘Durga – Atoot Prem Kahani’ premiering on 16th September at 7:40pm. The show revolves around two lovers who are madly in love but their caste and status are coming between them. The show is based on Rajasthan and will give a very close look at their culture as well.

The show revolves around Durga, a young woman belonging to a small kabila and adopted by a royal family. She falls in love with the Royal heir of the family Anurag and this will not be accepted by the matriarch Paani Bai.

Pranali Rathod will be playing Durga, Aashay Mishra as Anurag and Indira Krishnan as Paani Bai. The show will be very interesting as Durga and Anurag’s love will be challenged by the rules set by the society.
