Pandya Store: Shrashti Maheshwari kicked out of show

Star Plus show Pandya Store is revolving around Shiva taking up the challenge to participate in businessman of the year contest.

Shrashti Maheshwari who played the character of Anita in the show has been missing from the show for quite some time the reason about her missing from the show is revealed.

The actress said, “I’m not being called for shoot since two months. The makers renewed my contract recently and I was happy about the same and was pumped up for the upcoming track, however, to my disappointment, from the same month itself, the number of my shoot dates decreased considerably. I last shot for Shiva- Raavi track, that too, for two days in a month”.

She added, “I’m an independent girl and want to take care of my expanses all by myself. I can’t even take up another show as the industry feels that I’m a part of ‘Pandya Store’. What they don’t know is, that I’m not even shooting for the show. Casting directors don’t reach out to me for work considering that my show is on-air. The makers of ‘Pandya Store’ have clearly told me that there’s not much left for me to do in the show”.

Shrashti looks for another show

Shrashti added, “I feel the makers should help their actors in such situation by either giving them another project under their banner or spread the word about their actors’ availability in their circle, so that the actor gets work and can survive in a city like Mumbai. I’m blessed to have a supportive family but my inherent personality is that of being independent and in such situations things really get difficult”.
