Bollywood filmmaker 18 years old son dies in Car Accident

Ashwini Dhir is one of the most respected filmmakers in the industry. He is well known for directing movies like Son of Sardar and Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge. He has also produced popular television shows like Chidiya Ghar, Har Shaakh Pe Ullu Baithaa Hai, and Neeli Chatri Waale.

Shockingly on November 23 his son Jalaj Dhir died in a car accident along with 3 other boys of his age. His car crashed into a divider on the Western Express Highway at Vile Parle.

18-year-old Sahil Mendha who was under the influence of alcohol was driving the car and now has been arrested and his blood has gone for testing. Sarth Kaushik who was also sitting behind with Jalaj has died in the accident.

Investigation going on

The fourth occupant, Jedan Jimmy survived and complained to the police and now investigation is going on in drunk and driving case against the main accuse Sahil Mendha.

This incident has left the industry in tears as a young soul was taken away due to careless mistake. We give our condolence to the entire Dhir family.
