Pooja Bannerjee talks about Kasauti Zindagi Ki

One of the most popular shows of Indian television Kasautii Zindagii Ki is coming back with fresh faces and different storyline.

It seems that Pooja Bannerjee of Swim Team, Chandra Nandini and Dil Hi Toh Hai is playing the important character of Nivedita Basu in the show. 

Nevedita Basu is Anurag Basu’s elder sister.

Pooja says, "I am playing Nivedita Basu's character with a fresh take and that's the reason I have not seen the original show as a process of my preparations. I did not want to be influenced with anything else. I won't deny I used to watch the cult show as an audience earlier (smiles)." So how will you define Nivedita Basu? "She is the boss lady! She is clever and knows how things can be got done. It's an interesting character with lots of shades. I am having a great time on the set. My look is also different from whatever I have done in the past. I am sporting Bindi and wearing Sarees -- the draping style is different. What I have done is I gave my touch to it and that's why the overall draping of saree is different. I am sure this Durga Puja there will be a new style of saree that will come out."
