Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka actress gives importance to living beings

Jaya Bhattacharya is one of the most popular actresses in television industry.

Currently the actress is part of Colors show Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka.

It seems that actress voiced her opinion about the killing of tigress Avni on social media.

She said“Everyone should believe in conservation and preservation. Every human being and animal has a contribution towards nature and people should hold their views strong on the issues related to deforestation too. People talk a lot about saving money but not about saving living beings. The tigress was hungry for two days and she had cubs too! Imagine her plight...I will do my bit till the time I am alive and I believe we all need to feel responsible”.

She further added “Avni's post-mortem report says that her stomach was devoid of any food. That means she must not have hunted at all and was murdered in an empty stomach, and certainly not been able to feed her cubs who obviously depended on her for their food. The cubs are young and can't fend for themselves. And after so many days of being hungry god only knows in what condition they might be. I have been doing my bit since last 17 years and will continue doing whatever I can to help the four legged not to forget humans who require my help because I am aware. Along with me there is Rupali Ganguly, Utkarsha Naik, Pallavi Rao, Ananth Mahadevan, Mona Ambegaonkar, Joy Sengupta, Keith Gidwani who have raised their voice. We all work from our own pockets for the cause,”
