Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is one of the longest running shows on television industry.
Everyone from the original star cast including Hina Khan, Karan Mehra, Rohan Mehra, and Kanchi Singh are no longer part of the show as they decided to move on.
Gayatri who was nicknamed 'Gayu', was earlier played by Kanchi Singh.
Deblina Chatterjee who rose to fame with Star Plus’ Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein as Aaliya will be seen playing the character of Gayatri.
It seems that Kartik (Mohsin Khan) was Gayu’s first love and the makers might use this in their next track.
