Star Plus show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is revolving around Sirat’s entry in Kartik and Kairav’s life.

It seems that the makers have finally decided to take a generation leap in the show and Sirat will be seen dying while giving birth to a baby girl.

If sources are to be believed both Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi aka Kartik and Sirat will exit the show on the first week of October.

The story will now focus on Kartik and Sirat’s children Kairav Akshara and Aishwarya.

The leads of the show are not locked but the makers have started their search long back.

Sirat’s death will be the last scene after which the show will take a generation leap.

Will the new Jodi be able to live up to the expectation of the viewers or not?
