Anupama: Ronit Roy approached to play Vanraj Shah?

Anupama rules on the television screens. It is a remake of Star Jalsha's Bengali series Sreemoyee, produced by Rajan and Deepa Shahi under the auspices of Director's Kut Productions. 

It seems that Sudhanshu Pandey’s sudden exit from Anupama has stirred up a lot of controversy in the show as the makers are having a tough time in getting someone to play the powerful character of Vanraj Shah.

Actor Pankit Thakkar emerged initially but the actor has made it official that he is not joining the cast of Anupama. According to many polls actor Ronit Roy who once essayed the character of Mihir in Star Plus most iconic show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi has been approached to play the powerful character of Vanraj Shah.

Apparently Vanraj Shah’s character is extremely strong and to portray such a powerful character one needs to have that aura and presence and Ronit Roy is the perfect candidate for the character.

Big decision for makers

However, the makers have still not locked in any actor as its going to be a huge replacement in the show.

In the show, Anupama has recovered from the attack on her and now she will be seen trying to built her family once again.
