Anupama: Rahi & Prem become Lead of show Rupali Ganguly to play Supporting Character

Anupama rules on the television screens. It is a remake of Star Jalsha's Bengali series Sreemoyee, produced by Rajan and Deepa Shahi under the auspices of Director's Kut Productions. 

It seems that the makers have shifted the focus from Anupama aka Rupali Ganguly to the younger generation that is Rahi and Prem’s love story. The fans of the show are enjoying the chemistry between Rahi and Prem and hence the makers are covering them more.

Anupama who played the protagonist of the show for almost 4 years will be seen stepping down as the female lead as Adrija Roy aka Rahi and Shivam Khajuria aka Prem are the new lead of the show.

The dropping TRP of the show has impacted the makers to take this harsh decision. Earlier it was reported that many actors of the show left the show midway due to Rupali Ganguly’s politics on the sets. She was also accused of changing lines of the actor and hogging all the limelight of the show.

Rupali Ganguly no longer central character

This change in the show will be seen having a huge impact as Anupama aka Rupali Ganguly will no longer be the central character as Adrija and Shivam will be seen playing the main lead couple of the show.
